About

Engaging Learning to Empower

I want to make learning meaningful to the learner, efficient for stakeholders, and a fun and easy process for all.

I use my eight years of experience designing adult learning and facilitating training in various settings, plus my practices in instructional design processes and tools, to craft targeted learning solutions that deliver results.

In addition to instructional design and adult learning and development, I have had various professional experiences:

With each new professional opportunity, I am excited to learn new skills and use my transferable skills from other opportunities.

I am a learning sponge, and I spend a lot of my free time reading about new ideas, following Youtube tutorials, listening to podcasts, and using tidbits of what I learn to contribute to my communities and to inspire my professional work.

Being creative is an important part of my life, with a love of teaching myself DIY projects and crafts such as event decor and backdrops, embroidery, clay jewelry, paper crafts, and home decor.

One of the event backdrops I designed and crafted.

I love serving the community, such as through my church, which provided me with various unique experiences: being a project manager for yearly conferences of various sizes, designing learning programs to engage different ages of learners in-person and online, and helping immigrant newcomers with their settlement needs.

The 2022 annual conference I organize for my church, with 175 attendees in total.

Her designs are attractive, and are consciously targeted to our clientele and to meet our business goals. She takes the time to introduce and explain her strategies, and to answer any of our questions and concerns as business owners. She exercises tenacity and flexibility to research and implement new avenues of solutions, technologies, and ideas for improvement. She follows reasonable deadlines, maximizes budgets, and receives feedback and improves on it."
