elearning flagship project

Client: This project was made for IDOL World, a volunteer-driven initiative by IDOL (Instructional Design and Online Learning) Courses Academy that produces eLearning content free for use by nonprofits.

Problem Context: Nonprofit staff who lack experience, resources, and/or training in interviewing and hiring employees may face difficulties in effectively interviewing and hiring suitable candidates, which may contribute to higher turnover rates.

Solutions: Working with a Subject Matter Expert (SME), our team developed an on-demand eLearning project (with supporting job aids and external resources) to train managers on scenario- and behavioural-based interview questions and how to run an efficient interview.

Results: Projected results are an increase in hiring managers’ self-reported scores of confidence in interviewing and making hiring decisions by 30%; and an increase in upper managers’, hiring managers’, and employees’ scores of satisfaction of new hires by 20%.

Tools Used: Articulate Rise, Biteable, WellSaid Labs, Canva, Audacity.

Time in Development: 200 hours.

Responsibilities: Project Manager, Instructional Designer, eLearning Developer, Visual/Graphic Designer.
